You’re active and committed to your health,
but knee discomfort keeps showing up on runs, hikes, stairs, or after sitting too long.
Pain under or around the kneecap when running, especially downhill or on stairs
Knee aches after sitting for long periods, then stiffens when you stand up
You've tried rest, ice, and stretching — and the pain keeps coming back
Worried that pushing through will make it worse — or eventually lead to surgery
The pain is manageable some days, but it's always in the back of your mind
You just want to run, hike, or train again without second-guessing every step
This is a hands-on session led by Dr. Michael Chin
— designed to give you real answers, not generic advice.

THE REAL ROOT CAUSE
Why runner's knee is almost never just a knee problem — and which movement patterns upstream are actually driving the pain.

WHY COMMON TREATMENTS FALL SHORT
Why rest, ice, and quad stretches only provide temporary relief — and what's actually needed for lasting results.

MOVEMENT STRATEGIES THAT WORK
Specific, evidence-based exercises and movement corrections you can start using immediately after the workshop.

YOUR PERSONAL ACTION PLAN
A clear, individualized 3-step plan to reduce pain, rebuild movement quality, and return to running comfortably.

WHEN TO PUSH VS. WHEN TO REST
How to train smart — which activities to modify, which to keep, and how to progress without setbacks.

Founder, R3 Athletic & Physical Therapy — Milpitas, CA

Dr. Michael Chin has been practicing in the sports and orthopedic setting since 2006, first as a student athletic trainer for UC Davis Division I sports, and now as a seasoned physical therapist with a mission to help clients perform and feel their very best. He founded R3 Athletic PT on the principles of Rehab, Regen, and Redefine — a root-cause approach that goes beyond symptom management to address what's actually keeping active adults from doing what they love.
Yes — the workshop is completely free to attend. The $145 running assessment and regenerative therapy session is an optional, exclusive offer for attendees. You're not obligated to purchase anything to come.
Comfortable athletic clothing you can move in — shorts or leggings work well. Bring your running shoes if you have them. No special equipment required. A notebook is optional but handy for notes.
Not at all. Many attendees come because they've dealt with runner's knee before and want to prevent recurrence. Others are actively managing pain. Both situations are welcome.
We're keeping this small to make it interactive and personalized — not a large lecture. Spots are strictly limited. Register now to secure your place.
The discounted session is exclusively for workshop attendees and must be booked at or after the event. It is not offered at this price to the general public. If you're unable to attend, standard evaluations are available at r3athleticpt.com.
